Elves
Elves are humanoid creatures with large eyes, pointed ears and four fingers on each hand (counting the thumb) four toes on each foot. They come in near endless shapes, colors and attitudes, but they all have one thing in common; they are all descendants of The High Ones The High Ones came to this world in a magical flying vessel known as the Palace. For some long forgotten reason they crashed and became stranded here. No one now living knows what the High Ones looked like before they came here, but most elves know that they were nothing like the elfin shapes they changed into to better survive on this world. Where the High Ones are now or if any of them still are alive no one knows. But what _every_ elf knows is that they are the mothers and fathers of all and should be thought of with respect.
